The Union Gap Senior Center is located at the Youth Activities Park – Activities Building.  All seniors are invited to come join the fun!  There are fun activities planned, lunch is served daily, or you are welcome to just hang out with others and enjoy their company or read a book from our extensive library.<\/p>\n

Nutrition Program<\/h2>\n

The senior nutrition services in Yakima County is administered by People for People. This non-profit organization is committed to serving people throughout Central and South Central Washington State.  Click on the link for more information about “Meals on Wheels”<\/em>   http:\/\/mealsonwheelsyakima.com\/locations.html<\/a><\/p>\n

Lunch is served Monday thru Friday. If you are interested in joining us for lunch, please call 509.426.2601 the day before by 3:00 pm.  Menus can be found at the center; diabetic menus are also available.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meal registrations are required in order to ensure we have enough meals and table settings.  Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – not all sites will be open Monday thru Friday.<\/p>\n

If you would like to see if you qualify to receive weekly frozen meals, please call the Meals On Wheels<\/em> office at 509.426.2601.<\/p>\n

Every Monday, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. frozen meals for 7-days can be picked up at the “Meals On Wheels”<\/em> office @ 1008 West Ahtanum Road; Suite 3 in Union Gap OR<\/strong> arrangements can be made for meal delivery or other arrangements by calling 509.426.2601.<\/p>\n

Sometimes we get so busy with “life” and we don’t realize that someone we know may need a little help.  This is the perfect opportunity for you to think about elderly individuals in your neighborhood or family who might benefit from this nutrition service.   <\/p>\n
